It is not Kevin Costner’s latest blockbuster nor it is another announcement of apocalypses. The design studio Lindorfs has come up with a future concept for New York city.
Following the panic-mongering of scientists alleging that many major cities of the world would be under water soon, the architects are playing with ideas of future cities. Water-channels would replace the streets and gardens and parks would move to the roofs. The project is called Aqualta.
The designers think that people would eventually get accustomed to the new challenges of the Waterworld. Intermediately they are just adding to the panic and giving sects fuel for more apocalyptic preaching, however, it is not bad to know that we got an alternative should the flood really come.

Tote Tote is awesome. So many pockets – and not those modest, useless pockets, either.
