Lamps for Ceiling or Wall – No Difference

I was browsing Ebay and discovered a little known German lighting company called Sische. It’s actually an abbreviation from the names of the founders: Simon and Schelle. They pioneered low-voltage lamps in the 1980s but the most interesting thing with Sische, I think, is that some of their ceiling lamps can also be used on the wall. The first pic is from the 1970s – a cool ceramics lamp. It reminds me of those popular German lava-vases. Is it a ceiling lamp or a sconce? Whatever – you can fix it on any flat surface. It is around 9 by 9 inches and it just went for $100 on Ebay… Aah, I missed it! The second pic is from their recent collection. This installation is made of three modules of their Meander series. I bet it looks as good on the wall. The lamp can be used as a divider between two textures. It can be used with LEDs and eco-bulbs.
