Here’s a nice idea for those who can appreciate a real rustic touch. As far as furniture design goes, this is the pinnacle of simplicity and sustainability. You can use/reuse/reclaim almost any bit of log-type timber and then with a help of a dozen-or-so nails, create a totally unique chair.
Sun River Rustic furniture design company is well known in Canada but quite obscure abroad. Their pine log dining chairs are tremendous, however, they wouldn’t obviously go with any interior design.
At CA$110, they’re not really that expensive but anyone with some DIY skills and spare logs in the shed can easily replicate this chair.
And then there is the Juniper Entry chair slash hat holder. It was made from whatever one can find strolling through a forest. It’s probably the most sustainable method of sourcing materials. The white bit you see is made of twisted juniper pieces. Fit for the Green Man, it costs CA$800 but then it’s a one of a kind.
I love the second one 🙂 Looks really cool!
Yeah, I’d have one in my hallway to scare the bad spirits away! LOL
You got many bad spirits around, mate? 🙂
Just one – he comes every morning and delivers stuff through the letterbox.
